The YWD
Venue branding and visual identity

"A brand cannot build success solely on its product or service story. It needs a real community beneath it, one that emotionally connects to your brand through a set of shared values."

The Yewsley and West Drayton Community Centre was opened in 1967 as a place for people in the local area to get together for social, recreational and educational activities. The centre has undergone a complete renovation and with it, a new visual identity was required to complete the modernisation.

It was important that the identity could span a myriad of disciplines from social posts, and event promotions to exterior signage and wayfinding. As part of the visual identity I pitched the idea of simplifying the name to ‘The YDW’ to give the centre a sense of place and personality.

My blend of expertise hit a sweet spot that would complement any creative team. If you feel we'd be a good fit, then I'd love to hear from you.
